Dr. Jonathan Mender received his undergraduate B.A. in Sociology at the University of Michigan in 1996. Then in 2002, he graduated with his D.D.S. degree from Columbia University's School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Dr. Mender completed his residency training in General Practice Dentistry at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York in 2003. He then served a second year as the Chief Dental Resident. Additionally, he completed a two-year Fellowship in Advanced Prosthetics and Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Mender is one of a select number of dentists who is qualified to perform both the surgical placement and cosmetic restoration of dental implants. During his dental training, Dr. Mender was the class president and served as an editor of the Columbia Dental Review. He was the 2002 recipient of the New York Dental Association's Leadership Award. Dr. Mender's extensive training helps him to practice with a strong emphasis on:

- General Dentistry
Dr. Mender's interests include sketching, painting, architecture, skiing, running and basketball. His wife, Corey, is an Orthodontist currently working in New Jersey. Dr. Mender is a member of the following organizations:
