PARTNER

JAMES KLEINFELDER
DDS

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Kleinfelder earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University. After graduating, he moved to Manhattan in 2018 to complete a residency in general practice at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell.

Dr. Kleinfelder came to Madison Dental Group in July 2020 and is committed to providing compassionate care and building personal connections with his patients. He strives to create a relaxed, transparent environment where patients can feel comfortable and confident in the care they receive.

Whether you’re looking for preventive care, cosmetic improvements such as veneers, or restorative treatments, Dr. Kleinfelder is committed to making every visit worthwhile and rewarding. Outside of the office, Dr. Kleinfelder enjoys traveling with his husband (most recently to Hawaii), staying active through exercise, and reading. He and his husband are expecting their first child in January 2025.

LAWRENCE S. LEVINE
DDS

Dr. Levine joined the Madison Dental Group in 1995. Dr. Levine practice philosophy has always involved making his patients aware of the different treatment options available to them. Dentistry has changed dramatically over the past 10 years and patients now have a variety of treatment choices based on their needs. He now restores teeth while preserving more tooth structure utilizing advanced techniques in adhesive dentistry. Dr. Levine can perform a wide range of cosmetic and restorative procedures with a particular interest in implant and full coverage porcelain crowns. He utilizes the latest in advanced dentistry techniques and continually keeps updated on any changes the dental landscape. He attends several Continuing Education courses each year.

DANIELLE VOORHEES
DMD

Dr. Danielle Voorhees graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. Inspired by her childhood dentist, she obtained a post-baccalaureate pre-dental certificate from Brandeis University and then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Voorhees completed a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where she received advanced training in fixed prosthodontics, implantology and pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Voorhees is a compassionate dentist who emphasizes preventive oral health. She strives to connect closely with every one of her patients in order to address each concern with a personalized treatment plan. She cannot wait to help you achieve the smile of your dreams.

Dr. Voorhees has a passion for traveling and has visited over 40 countries. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and her dog, Rufus. She is expecting her first child this Spring.

GENERAL & COSMETIC DENTISTRY

TONY VOONG,
DDS

Dr. Tony Voong is a general dentist focused on delivering comprehensive care with an emphasis on aesthetics, function, and patient comfort. Originally from Texas, he earned his undergraduate degree from St. Edward’s University and his dental degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at NYU Langone Health, where he received additional training in complex restorative and cosmetic procedures. He has provided care through community outreach programs in Minneapolis and New York City, as well as on dental mission trips abroad. These experiences have shaped his practical and patient-first approach prioritizing communication, transparency, and conservative treatment planning.

Dr. Voong is known for his calm, thorough style and his ability to help patients feel at ease, especially those who may feel anxious about dental care. His goal is always to help patients make informed decisions and feel confident in their treatment. Outside the office, he enjoys exploring New York’s food scene, attending Broadway shows, traveling, cycling, and live music.
