Dr Anca Bazile has been at the forefront of surgical periodontics and dental implantology for the past 25 years. Since completing her specialty masters in periodontics at Case Western Reserve University in 2000, she has taught at NYU’s department of Implant Dentistry for over ten years, lectured nationally and internationally, and has been active in private practice. Dr Bazile’s main focus is to provide patients with the most predictable and efficient results that will streamline them to become periodontally healthy and integrate seamlessly with the restorative team at the Madison Dental Group.
Dr Bazile’s main practice includes surgical placement of dental implants, advanced bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, extractions/wisdom teeth extractions, comprehensive treatment of periodontal disease. Dr Bazile has been at the Madison Dental Group since graduating dental school from the University at Buffalo in 1994. She was at first a general dentist, which later gave her an edge into comprehensively diagnosing and treatment planning complex cases involving advanced periodontal disease and implant supported restorations.
She resides in NYC with her husband and teenage daughter, escapes to the North Fork of Long Island when time permits.

Dr. Heather Kunen is our in-house Orthodontist. She’s a New York native, having grown up here in the heart of the city. Dr. Kunen went to the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Behavioral Neurobiology. Following the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Kunen attended NYU College of Dentistry, followed by Columbia University to attain her specialty in Orthodontics as well her Masters of Science.
Dr. Kunen has a true passion for her work, as her main focus is to help her patients feel confident in how they portray themselves to the world through their smiles. Dr. Kunen specializes in orthodontic treatment for both children and adults, and offers a range of treatment modalities from interventional appliances (like palate expanders, headgear, etc.), traditional braces, and Invisalign depending on the patient's needs. She is an Invisalign specialist and a top 1% Invisalign provider in the country (and even appeared in their commercial!). Dr. Kunen prides herself in working closely with each patient in order to address each patient’s unique concerns and to achieve great results.
